Pastor Theodore Sargeant was born on the beautiful Island of Bequia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the West Indies.
He attended both the Seventh-day Adventist primary and secondary schools in Bequia before moving on to continue his studies in other Adventist college and university.
Pastor Sargeant has served the church in various capacities as a pastor/evangelist, and also as a departmental director in three conferences in three world divisions, namely:
(East Caribbean Conference in the Inter-America Division, South England Conference in the Trans-European Division and Ontario Conference in the North American Division).
In Ontario Conference, he served as the lead pastor of the Ottawa, Orleans and Kanata Churches and also the lead pastor in Toronto Perth Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Currently, he is the ADRA/Community Services/Compassion Ministries Director for the Ontario Conference.

Overview: The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of Adventist Community Services Disaster Response (ACS DR) operations for interested individuals, volunteers involved in special ACS DR activities, and Adventist leaders. This course teaches individuals, families, and churches how to be prepared for disasters, large and small. The course presents basic principles to develop leaders for any Adventist Community Services (ACS) church ministry. This course is intended for individuals who desire to learn more about managing ACS DR operations.
Youth Empowered to Serve (YES!) is an Adventist Community Services ministry
that encourages high school and college-age youth to begin a life of service to their
communities by working with ACS ministries.
